This is a song about someone thinking they are over somebody, and then realizing that some thing you don't get over. It's a very powerful and touching song. When Cheryl played it for the first time, she was surprised by how well the audience responded to it. One person in the audience put it on the level of Aces and Arrow.

Cheryl originally considered "Some Things You Don't Get Over" for the title, but when she sent me the lyrics, this was the title she listed. When Cheryl's manager later sent me a list of what songs were going to be on Sylvia Hotel, he used the old title. That's what makes keeping track of Cheryl's titles so interesting. That was a joke :^)
